Fully Funded Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program, Stanford University, USA
Stanford University is offering the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Scholarship to students who are pursuing a full-time graduate degree in any field.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be applying to or already admitted to a full-time graduate program at Stanford University in the same year of application.
- Applicants must have a U.S. bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university or college, obtained after or in January 2017 (military personnel who graduated after or in January 2015 are also eligible).
- Applicants who have spent at least two years studying at Stanford will be prioritized.

- Full tuition and fees coverage
- Living allowance

- Annual transportation stipend
- Settlement allowance (for new scholars only)

Program Duration:
The scholarship benefits are awarded for the duration of the scholar’s chosen program, up to three years.
Application Process:
Stanford University USA Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) Program application process:
- Visit the Knight-Hennessy Scholars website to read the application guidebook and make sure you are eligible for the scholarship and the desired program at Stanford.
- Submit two separate applications: one to the chosen Stanford program and one to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program.
- On the Stanford application, indicate that you are also applying for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program.
- Complete the Knight-Hennessy Scholars application form and submit all required documents by the deadline.
Required Documents:
- One-page resume
- Undergraduate (and graduate, if any) transcripts and standardized test scores
- Letters of recommendation
- Short answers and essay prompt (600 words)
- Other documents may be required by the Stanford program to which you are applying
Selection Process:
Applications are reviewed by the Knight-Hennessy Admissions Committee and the admissions committee of the chosen Stanford program.
Finalists are notified on January 30 and invited to participate in an Immersion Weekend interview.
Scholarship recipients are notified on March 12.
Application Deadline:
The Knight-Hennessy Scholars application deadline is October 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). However, applicants must also apply to the eligible Stanford program. The Stanford application deadline varies depending on the program.
